Any help appreciated volvo fh v2 underbunk fridge. When ever i turn the engine off fridge comes up with error E3 with 1 flash from red LED which says on fridge “battery protecting disconection” battery’s have been checked and ok

That’s normally when you start the engine whilst the compressor is running. The spike in power causes the fridge to cut out for a few seconds then return to normal. Only happens when the compressor is running though. Never heard of it happening if the engine stops though. Could be a fault with the fridge itself

Don’t know but the error comes up after abt 3 mins fridge is set at 2, when i get up in the morning its at 20. No good for my milk[LOUDLY CRYING FACE]

If it’s doing it overnight the batteries ore on there way out. Have they been tested from cold, or after you’ve started it?

You need them tested before you start the engine and put a charge back in them
