Over the last 2 months, we had 9 brand new FH turn up to replace the MANs we had… a bit cramped due to the big dash but not a bad motor…. nice comfy driving position (although feels slightly off centre to me), clear displays, nice all round vision, kitted out with all things kitchen (bar the sink), LED headlamps are great for nights and the I-shift is spot on (specked with fuel package so has I-see/I-save) but the DAB radio….absolutely rubbish! The only station it will hold on to all night is Absolute 80s! Got from Reading to Oxford ring road the other night and and it wouldn’t find anything! Is there a way of a quick fix for this or is it a dealer issue? Others have the same issue so Bluetooth their phone….best part of 120k and I’d be asking for a solution! Early reports suggests that all have some sort of ‘niggly little issue’ or another. The TGX I had would only lose signal in the Amesbury area of the A303…. Might ask for it back!
I have a 2020 V8 Scania. Infotainment system is pants.
I stream Spotify 100% of the time.
2021 Actros, replacement radio has been on order since October because the volume can’t be turned up beyond a whisper.

Does it have a “speed dependent volume” setting in the menu somewhere? The volvo has that…. Anyway, I’ve discovered my problem while sat waiting to be loaded…key in position 1, put a station on that didn’t normally come on and there it was!! Green light so ignition on…let it do its thing and hen everything had settled….radio went off! Turned key back to 1…. It came on! Seems whoever wired the cameras in has buggered something somewhere so another night of absolute 80s it was. Chances are it won’t get sorted as it’s unimportant so give me a couple of weeks and ask me anything on 80s music!
I’m in a DAF with no aircon and the radio is stuck on LBC… because the front place is long gone into the ether.
Must ■■■■ having so much trouble with your DAB radio in your shiny new Volvo. I feel for you.
I’m in a new at the beginning of the year FH, no complaints with the dab, other than you sometimes have to press play on the radio page for some reason

3 year old Volvo and I stream Deezer rather than faf about with the radio . I couldn’t get the DAB part to hold a station for any length of time so I eventually gave up . At least with Deezer you don’t have to listen to the talky bits .
Can’t stand listening to the radio…

That’s shocking….our CF doesn’t even have electric windows and is kept solely for agency drivers or those of lesser experience and some of us won’t even get in it to move it….degrading for some us…. Waiting for the colder weather now so I can turn the cab climate on from the comfort of my sofa using the My Truck app…. Life is privileged eh, apart from the DAB radio
69 plate DAF XFSSC, which I got new, and the radio is a bog standard affair with the sat nav, but no DAB, so I stream into it via my phone. GHR all day until I get bored then usually blast out one of my many Face Tube playlists.

You can check your area to see if you are in an area that receives a good DAB signal - no idea how accurate they are but you may possibly find your in a black hole reception wise
