Would love to know what happened to it and if it ever had a second life?

A non regular driver drove this up Bunny Hill in Notts and went straight to the quarry to load but weighed in at 38 tonnes. He did not even know it was loaded…

Does anyone out there have any figures as to the dates the last F series were built? I was given to understand that the FH12 models came out in 1993 and I’ve seen a good few L registered F’s, (as I understand it) the FH16 came out a little later so I was wondering if the F16 was built alongside the FH12’s for a short while.

The reason I ask is that I’ve just bought an F16 (after years of seasrching for a decent one I could afford) and it was first registered in June 1994 which seems like a late registered model and I’de love to ‘fill in some of the gaps’.[/size]Ross.

wilsonart of shildon had 3x f12 4x2 tractor units on m reg ,pattern bros of ilminster had a m reg f10 but the last f10 or f12 was registered to bank’s of sandy that was a m reg . where did your f16 originate from ? sounds a very special lorry that ?

i think pattens ran a couple very late F10’s AP, mind you they’d been bought years earlier & were left painted up just waiting to be put into service

Unfortunately I remember this sitting on 35 berth southampton dock waiting for export around 10 years ago.

I had a good look round it and although a little tatty round the edges it was still quite tidy.

Cheers
