Mark Fullers pride and joy. A magnificent machine in its day. The first truck I ever saw with train horns (the real thing!) Not sure what they are upto these days but as far as I’m aware they are still in haulage. Spoke to Mark a few weeks ago re him driving on this years convoy.

I know mate but time’s change got a 500 FH12 now fridge, microwave leather seat’s and only do 400 km’s a day
no night’s out priceless.

I had a 500 before I came out here, it had I-shift too, nice motor, pulled like a train, wish they were around when we were doing the old job.
got couple more of it they spoilt it painting the badges black it looks better then that awfull thing of hartleys thats lorry abuse

Thanks Mark, just remembering that tipping trailer ,used to hate those twin rams,used to watch it going up like a hawk and was always very glad when the load shot out.It was a good day when we upgraded that trailer for a C/F with a single ram.

It is by far the favourite of all the trucks i`ve driven because the ride was so good and the bed very comfortable.
