Craig, im guessing he bought that 2nd hand, as the mudflaps on the front are the logo for Continental Cargo Carriers, so im guessing the truck came from Suffolk area before your dad got it?? it’d be interesting to know whos truck it was

cheers for the reply mate, yeah Mick Sadler is from St Neots or St Ives way, hes still going, trades under the name MJS Express now, he allways had tidy tackle. The Scania in the pic was tidy, the new 143 i got to replace it was even better!!

Not a show stopper like some posted here & no great deal of shiney bits to polish, but she runs well & i like it , just a shame that when it goes i might just have to slum it with a new scumia 
Here’s an old F16 for you. My dad was Transport Manager at Pritchards when they got this. It was a 4x2 with the full “470 POWER” logo’s on it.
I remember the day it arrived in plain white and they stored it in the shed until it got painted.
According to dad they were told at the time they could have the truck as long as it was painted either black, black or black!!!
I remember going Unit only with dad and him raving about how fast it was off the mark, i seem to remember him out dragging an XR3!!! Happy Days.
