Isn’t that ALIEN ?
…well, if you think on a red VOLVO (sorry, habe no pic to hand now) it could be.
But I am not sure. Unfortunately I did not talk with the driver at the TGP even it met him at the shower area/toilet and watched him later at polishing his truck!
I think he went with this Volvo often to Germany. There is small sticker on the rear bumper from the BRUMMI series.
This was in the 80 and 90 `s the talism of the German “Bundesverband für Güterkraftverkehr”. One of their slogans was
" FERN- SCHNELL- GUT". Maybe someone of the uk continental driver can remember.

Well, I am happy about all infos to this unique Volvo

3rd pic up of the black FH, where do you get the deflectors/panels on the front corners next to the grill?, are they a volvo part?
euromat:
That’s a real good picture, euromat. Of all the ‘older trucks’, the F12 Globetrotter is my favourite and the one in the picture above is one of the best I’ve seen! It would be even better without the roof bars, mind you.
I only once really spent any amount of time in one (a weeks work tramping through the agency) and (at the time) I’d have probably done it for free!! Some transport company on Pocklington Industrial Estate if I remember rightly.

well I don´t know , sorry. Maybe I will meet the owner sometimes again. It´s a small company, doing local word around D-88400 Biberach/ Riss with construction equipment.
