Vodafone Family & Friends

They offer a brilliant deal, and this is what we use to keep off the cab phones throughout the night.A great method to give instructions and hints on directions etc.It also makes the shift go quicker, just having banter !

Ok heres the deal, everybody has to have a vodafone, you can get them for about £7.50 now, go to the Vodafone www and order a free sim.

One of the group has to pay £5 a month, Family and Friends, the other four can of course take turns to pay.

The group can talk to each other for 59 minutes then you get charged, so ring for 50 and hang up.This is 24/7.

Everybody can talk one to one within the group, not conference calls. So even if the person who has paid the £5, has his phone turned off the others can link up.

Up till now we have used 8000 minutes, at 30p a minute that would of cost, £2,000.

Soz if this is old news :unamused:

Enjoy

Do they not have a ‘fair use’ policy then, which in effect is another term for capping you.

As an aside,my new lass is on o2 and has unlimited to other o2 so got myself pay monthly, one month contract sim £21-600 minutes+500 minutes to o2…Called orange to cancel the 1 month contract I had with them and they offered me 600 minutes for £10.21 p/m up from the 200 minutes it was originally.

I don’t think there is a cap on the Vodafone family. We have been on it since it started and it gets caned every month! Me, wife, daughter, sister and 2 sister in laws all for £7 a month I think it is. 4 numbers is £5. We all use blackberry messenger as well which is great.

No cap, thought the same.

It’s best if you have no credit on the phones, because if you forget the cut off period, it takes credit straight away with no warning.

Just remember to hang up at around 55minutes.

You can still ring Vodafone for an emergency top up, for other calls if required as a IOU, I honestly believe its one the best deals out there atm.
