Anybody know of firms that will help you get a work visa to drive in the mines in australia
any helpful info would be much appreceited
Hi 205.I am merely being curious,as i myself have driven in mines in Canada and now live in Lappland driving a 50ton tipper 1km undergound in an iron ore mine here.Why do you want to drive in a mine in Aus.Do you already live there.It is not a job that everyone wants,or can do as we see up here by the shortage of people wanting to drive underground.
Most mines are situated in remote areas and so have very little in the way of social life etc.
Normally you only do that sort of work for a fixed period and for the money.
Here it is slightly different as Sweden is’nt so big and the whole of Swedens economy is affected by the mining in Lappland which in turn means that we have a good work\leisure environement but this is not the case in other countries.

hi, i have no intention of working underground,i like the daylight to much and im looking at driving a service vehicle on the surface or a dumper in an open cast mine
