I was on the phone to Jerry Cooke this morning and it is with great sadness that I have to report on here the passing away of his father, Vince Cooke. Vince was a truly lovely bloke - he worked hard all his life; and was the life and soul of any gathering of truckers in his later years. Vince will be much missed among older S Jones (Aldridge) drivers and REVS members. Our thoughts are with his family at this time. The funeral is on the 18th August. RIP Vince. Robert
Some of you may remember him turning up at truck shows with his restored Willys Jeep. Vince was a wonderful raconteur, so we always enjoyed him at gatherings like the ones at Kelsall and Gaydon. I appreciate that many of his old mates probably don’t come on TN. He passed away on the 30th July. Robert

Looks like a good send off Jerry .
Thanks for posting these pictures, Jerry. I certainly raised a glass to Vince on the 18th, the day of the funeral. I’m glad to see he went in style. Robert
