You’ve warned me of the pitfalls when dealing with the swiss customs. You’ve given me invaluable advice about holidays and driving bans in just about every european country. You’ve updated me on new toll systems and where to get my Austrian “GO-box” and given me regular news on the lack of news on the German LKW Maut. You’ve told me where to get my cheap booze & ■■■■. I know we’re not in the healthiest of jobs, but whenever I see a fit, slim man or woman driving an artic, I turn green with envy.
If I can lose the “x” out of “xl” I would be over the moon. I’ve tried everything. I’m not giving up. About 2 stone will be fantastic. Please help. Any useful suggestions will be rewarded with my eternal friendship and my ex wife.
Stop eating for a while …mind you, it hasn’t worked for me - must be a genetic problem never mind what Dr D Duck says

Handball and multi drops with a Tilt 6-8 side strips a day should soon work off the pounds, oh and only one fry-up per week.
You don’t live with your mom n dad any more. So you can do what you like. So, when your plate has been overfilled, don’t clear it - leave some. You can still have your pudding
(Its working for me, slowly).
Don`t eat ANYTHING after 5pm. Simple as that.

There’s no trick, just common sense: eat less and regularly, move more.
But that’s probably not what you wanted here…
weight watchers. do it online so you dont have to go to the stupid meetings (unless you want to). you dont even have to excercise to lose weight either , as when you first sign up, you enter in your height, weight, typical daily activity etc, andd it works out how many ‘points’ you can eat each day. when you start off, youll get quite a lot of points, so that you ease into it better. Im allowed 32 points a day, but i try and not go above 27 - what you can do is save points so you can have a few beers at the weekend and not worry about it, you can even do some excercise, and gain extra points for doing it - i.e. a 15 minute intense run will get you another 4 points to ‘spend’. Its working for me, even though im hardly strict on myself (i cant resist a sausage and bacon baguette a few tmes a week ), if i try a bit harder i would probably lose it quicker, but ive lost 7lbs over the last 3 weeks. I find it makes you more aware of what you eat, and makes you plan out what to eat better, i now make my own lunch than buy it off a burger van (saves me money too!)

I’ve battled my weight all my life, I’ve never been on a strict diet but I was advised to reduce my intake of food & increase my output of effort, with this in mind I did grasp the nettle & try exercise, I now do 15 to 20 minutes at least 6 times a week & I also walk the dog on top of that. I cut down my portion sizes & I only eat light food at work.
I eat Sainsbury fruit & fibre for breakfast in the lorry, a Fruit salad & one wholemeal bread sandwich throughout the day. I have a proper evening meal but I no longer overeat in the stupid way I used to. Saturday lunch is my only fry up & it’s a proper job. After watching the You are what you eat programme where she reckoned you’re often thirsty when you think you’re hungry I increased my water intake. I now drink about two litres of water throughout the day plus a couple of cups of tea when I’m on break. All this has brought my weight down by 12 kilos but it’s taken a long time. I don’t do nights out so it’s easier for me.

That’s what I did,and a slight modification to my diet gave me a weight loss of one and a half stones in 6 weeks!.
That was 12 months ago and I’m keeping it up so much that wifey has binned all my 38" strides and filled my wardrobe with 34" instead.
Halve everything on your dinner plate to start with, cut out the fried stuff, cakes, crisps, biscutes, fizzy pop, alchohol, chocolate & pastries & anything else you know is not so good. A bit of exercise will do you good to tone the muscles up (muscles burn off the fat quicker so its said), & do something to get the heart pumping faster (keeps the heart muscles healthy), you dont need to do hours of exercise just a few minutes a few times a day or half to an hour in the evening or when it suits you. If you have a quiet day off or a quiet work day eat less.
Losing weight gets managed in your Mind. Most are just doing wrong leaving.
What you need is a Work or Hobby that fills you out.
My job doesn’t,as the Law is against everything i like. So i do some Out door Activity. not that Year as Dad just passed away,but going often to desserts of USa,exploring the wild and Photo shooting. lose between 15 and 20 kilo in a 2 Month,and is cheaper than staying here.
Fly is around £300.- Lon-Chicago-Lon Greyhound Chicago-Los angeles-Chicago around £150.- if booked early in Advance.
Now i’m getting older and may go 2 or 3 Times a year over.
Middn of Jan to South west,After Easter high to Colorado/Illinois and August Canada
its warm at that times there and lots to see
