Getting some conflicting information hopefully a member on here can clear it up.
when calculating maximum (60%) overhang on a three axle (non rear-steer) rigid. Is the wheelbase and subsequent overhang taken from
a) the centre point between the two rear axles
b) 110mm to the rear of point a)
It is B.
the ‘X’ overhang is measured from 110 mm behind the centre line of the rear two axles. This means your ‘Y’ measurement is centre line front wheel to centre line of rear two axles plus 110mm. once that is established just calculate 60% of ‘Y’
