Im trying to set up on my own just a 8 wheeler tipper for now as there is a brave bit of work for it up my way just wanting to know do I need to get my own O licence straight away or can you use someone else’s to help get started up
you are not allowed to use someone elses Operators Licence!!!
you can use someone elses Freight CPC for your own Operators Licence
do NOT get them confused 
You would have to work for that company and your truck would have to be managed by them as well. When you run for yourself you need your own O Licence.
