I hope tappy gets his truck as he did not deserve this the amount of time he put into the motor and how hard he works

When i first read this i thought to myself, what a dumb thing to do leave his truck, no wonder it got stolen. And then i remembered, i leave mine too ! When i get paid to stay in it then i’ll stay in it, until then i’ll do what i like with my free time off. I’d guess though he’s got in trouble for not being with it. I could be wrong but thats what i think.

People always jump the gun when vehicles go missing 90% of the time its never the driver its loose lipped warehouse staff or [zb] traffic staff between tappy and my transport manager i have pictures of every thing i have ever owned which some say is sad i quite like it that load was not copper it was air ducting pipe to which i have moved about 250 loads in the last year i=this was someone after the unit where its gone under the hot spanner and is on its way to a hot country now but my trailer and those creates are out there some where out there on a industrial estate or another truck park they were no good to any one remember the last few years the country has exported [zb] of 4 series scania to other countries and now they need parts so it makes them very theft attracalble same as a few years ago mercs were. A local firm to me shut shop a few years ago after losing 5 merc sk cabs in 6 weeks so less forget tappy and find my trailer and if it dont come back then were worry about tappy lol lol

Your lack of punctuation makes your post a little hard to understand. Have i got it right? Pentalver was pulling for you at the time of the disappearance?
Had some Problem too a few Times,but the hardest was when i came back from Restaurant at the Hub in Leicester,Driverdoor unlocked,and Dashboard bend out to reach the Locking Device.Couldn’t start without Chip in the Selfmade Key.
But,how had they made a Key?
They must have had someone in the Office.
can anyone on here give an update on tappys wellbeing,and is his job ok?,please.its been a while now since he posted,i understand his heart may not be in it at the moment.
I hope you are getting on OK Tappy. Try to not let these [zb] get you down. I will keep an eye open in any area I go to these coming weeks. If spotted I will inform the police and try to stay with it as long as I can. Wish I could do more.

As far as i’m aware the boy is ok, still working, still smiling. May i be so bold to suggest that this thread be allowed to fade away.
Some comments thru out this thread have lacked some tact, ok if yr taking the rise out of someone, but if there is yr employer reading them they aren’t quite as funny. Everyone makes mistakes, and just sometimes its a mistake to post things on here. Let the dust settle, i’m sure he’ll resurface.
And so there is no misunderstanding, i haven’t been asked to post on his behalf, this is just how i see it.

Why let it fade away is it too embarrassing for tappy if so maybe it should not have been started.
The other thing about all this is it was’nt actually tappys truck it was Pentalvers( Mearsk) I’m sure replacing it wont be a problem. If tappy wants to spend his wages on bling for the truck well it’s up to him. Maybe next time he’ll go to secure parking cos that that tenner would have saved ann awful lot of grief.
I had my truck stolen in 2000 in Southampton, the police checked all the CCTV cameras and found the truck parked in a layby on the A303 minus the load. That was years ago and they found it within hours, I would have thought the number of cameras increased by now? maybe they dont have the manpower anymore?

i agree with you adiey. this thread wouldnt have gone to 4 pages if he had come along and cleared up the questions straight away. to me he is making matters worse and keeping everyone guessing… anyway i dont think he will be back on here now.

to be honest we have been here too many times before with different members and different situations and its just the same again. tappy isnt the most prolific poster so i just take the signs that id be surprised if he was back. another fact is he had his mrs posting for him yet mr vain is telling us he is busy working and happy as larry but cant be bothered thanking trucknet for their help.
