UPS Looses Unfair Dismissal case at Employment Tribunal :smiling_imp:

On the 21st of November I won a case of Unfair Dismissal and a Judgement was awarded against UPS SCS (UK) Ltd at The Employment Tribunal in Leeds.
UPS used the services of two solicitors and a Barrister at a cost to them of approximately Ā£15,000. I represented myself. The case lasted two days at the Tribunal Hearing and took UPS six months to prepare.
UPS got many, many things wrong and I produced no evidence, I just used the 95 pages of evidence UPS produced against them successfully.

To pursue such a case is not for the faint hearted but you can win.

Firstly, congratulations on winning your case, David beats Goliath, :laughing:

Secondly, there may be a confidentiality clause in place, jonob, there normally is in these sort of cases, so you canā€™t reveal the amount. However, I hope
itā€™s a substantial sum. A good result anyway. :smiley:

never been in court , but if i was would defo defend myself

well done dave, ive never been a fan of ups anyway with their agency fixed pay scheme :imp:

i was at ups wakefield today with a box and they tipped it in 30 mins :open_mouth: so they are not my friends either.

In my case I also found the strongest evidence against them in their ā€œGrounds of resistanceā€ letter :slight_smile:
