You’ll not get an argument from me on that one.

Saying as the government is signed up & a fully paid member of NetZero it’ll be interesting to see what happens. The re-date to push the timeline back to 2035 is pretty academic really when the ZEV mandate will still come into force next year whereas 22% of all car manufacturers new vehicles & 10% of all new vans will have to be electric, This will then rise incrementally each year to 80% for cars and 70% for vans in 2030, and 100% for both by 2035.

Yep the idea of let’s tax < Euro 6 diesels and < Euro 4 petrols off the road did wonders for Labour’s election chances in Uxbridge.
.
Labour were only 400 short of overturning a 20,000 tory majority in Uxbridge wern’t they? Sounds pretty good to me.

If you selectively ignore the turnout figure because many Conservative voters stayed at home.In protest at the Tory’s war on the Motorist which is as bad as Labour’s Stalinist tendencies.
Which now looks like the Tories could be starting to U turn on hopefully.
Replacing a bunch of woke Tories with a bunch of outright car hating commies isn’t exactly the best idea if you’re against ULEZ and Kahn.
As for Uxbridge like most other affected areas it’s only in Kahn’s clutches because of the Tory inspired London Government Act which obviously laughable Labour infiltrator Andrew Boff wants to expand even further.
