It’s not for me to tell you how to vote, that’s up to you. Given your obvious distaste for the other parties why should I tell you who I vote for just to have you ridicule my choice.
If you don’t like what the parties do then go get involved, don’t come on here or sit at home ranting about it. Go to meetings, voice your opinion, question your local mp & councillors, in short do something other than wait until the next big thing come around. A few years ago it was all bnp this & bnp that, they were going to reduce immigration and make the country better for us all, another one trick pony. Oddly enough their leader is an MEPs aswell. If you feel that ukip will give you more than the last lot you voted for, I don’t need to know who btw, then crack on. Just go to a public meeting for their candidate around your way and ask him a few questions on how he intends to improve your life, it gets very interesting believe me.

Good point, we’ll made. You’re not a ukip candidate yourself are you?

UKIP couldn’t run a bath. All they’re good for is making over the top promises which they know very well they’ll never have to keep. We wouldn’t last five minutes with them in charge.

RT - Try denying that ALL of the major parties have been doing exactly as youve said since any of us can remember, and will continue to do so until someone has the balls to break this eternal Westminster culture of empty rhetoric. I
m inclined to interpret that no-one is naive enough to think that UKIP is going to seize power anytime in the near future, and unless im badly misreading the poster
s sentiments, the pro UKIP guys on here merely wish to see a new train of thought injected into British politics which actually factors in Britains own interests higher up the list of priorities than we are presently seeing. I fully concur that UKIP are currently nowhere near capable of holding high office, but make an analogy if you will, to a fledgling F1 team. Realistically, they
re never going to jump straight onto the pole position, but little by little, they can grow in knowledge and expertise, and develop their strategy to eventually become credible contenders for the top positions.
Cameron & his cohorts endlessly display identical, robotic, pre-programmed “stepford wives” personas. You could predict their responses to awkward political questioning almost to the letter, and I would not trust them to set my alarm clock.
Farage is not a smug, aloof, pink-skinned, over-privileged, out-of-touch, “old money” ■■■■-end. I admire his no-bull approach to dealing with his detractors. I admire his recent total demolition of Clegg, for the whole country to see. I do not place ANYONE on a pedestal, but I do passionately believe that a sea change needs to occur in the British political arena.

What is your problem with keeping your voting policies quiet? You’re like some kid in the playground wanting to look good by being in the same gang as the cool kids. Makes me wonder which other loons you’ve voted for, assuming you have voted before of course, just because a mate told you it would be a laugh.

Quite simply because everything you say on the topic is worthless unless you state your reasons for them and who/what would be better in their place, and why. You clearly like to think you have all the answers hence why you are knocking UKIP at every opportunity you get, so let’s hear from you which party(ies) would be better and why. I’ll tell you the reason why you won’t : it’s because you know when you inevitably say one of Lib/Lab/Con you will get laughed out of the door and given a history lesson to refresh your short memory.
I’m voting for UKIP! I have done for many Euro elections now and why? Because I want a say on EU membership or the Federal united states of Europe! I’m 45 and I have never had a say about all this in any referendum and I want one! I will get my way before its too late for my children!
I’m sick of paying for layers and layers of supposed democracy! UKIP and Farage promise what I want to see! Freedom to work and live in a free society which our forefathers all gave to us with their blood! This country has forgot how to be out in the world looking to trade and with the whole world not trading blocks!
Who voted for the smoking ban, green taxes, open door free movement, unaudited spending, rules and laws voted in by MEPs that do not understand Britain in any way! This one fits all bullshine!
Is this all the future is for our children? I don’t think so!!!

Oh, I quite agree. I have little time for any of the major parties either, to be honest. I don’t know what the answer is: all I know is that, for me, it isn’t UKIP.

That’s the image Farage has carefully constructed for himself. Politicians have always attempted to appear “of the people” … the only thing Farage has done differently is that he’s managed it a bit more successfully. You really believe he’s to be found down his local every night, rubbing shoulders with the likes of you and me and knocking pints of Carling back? I doubt it, frankly. It suits him to adopt that image, but he’s a very wealthy upper middle class politician, just like many of the mainstream politicians he pretends to be an alternative to.

They all make promises that they can’t keep. It’s called politics.
The most honest politician I ever heard was Enoch Powell, he spoke the truth and got the sack. He should have been Prime Minister, we would not be in the mess we are now if he had been.

Nice to see UKIP in the lead on the latest opinion polls. I hope the foretold earthquake becomes a reality.
I was in Sainsbury’s the other day, and saw the Lib Dem’s Political Broadcast, jeesh that cleggy is desperate. I found it funny the way he was going on at the container port - saying without EU membership the ports will suddenly empty. I am sure we import a lot more from china than we do from the whole EU.

I know, that was my point. Farage is a consumate politician: why everyone falls for his “man of the people” cobblers, and believes the promises him and his ridiculous party make, I’m at a loss to imagine. I hold no brief for the main parties either, but UKIP are neither any better nor a viable alternative.

Nothing at all personal but the ‘slackbladder’ and ‘rhythm thief’ type of citizens travel through life from their birthing room to their final resting places by the expediency of their acquired intelligence, installed into their empty skulls entirely by state curricula, anything outside their state programming is viewed with suspicion and treated as subversive and considered to be the thoughts of dissidents, they and their ilk have been informed they are freeborn and free thinking homo sapiens. They have their qualifications and degrees to reinforce and comfort them in knowing that they are of superior intelligence, degrees and qualifications engineered by their ‘cradle to the grave’ guardians in the establishment, an establishment orchestrating these ‘free thinkers’ entire lifelong existence of being nothing more than state programmed automatons genetically engineered to be frightened of and reject any anti-establishment shadows.
Even from behind a computer screen with guarenteed anonymity they cannot bring themselves to contemplate anti establishment thoughts, these turkeys are from the cradle to the grave fit only for a life of loyally voting for their state organized christmas rituals, the only indeterminable element to their otherwise pointless lives is when will the remainder of their rotting living corpses catch up with their already dead from the neck up ‘meatheads’.
They and their previous dead from the neck up generations have delivered this country up to it’s present day irreversible one way ticket fate of having it’s own indigenous population being wiped from their own industrial landscape, these ‘free thinkers’ don’t need to put in print what their voting intentions are, they don’t decide anyway their masters do that for them, some of these ‘free thinkers’ happily go and fight to the death in wars that their masters have decided who is to be their enemies, they are truly dead and fzbked in the head and like it or not you had better have a plan ‘B’ for your lives after the next election, because plan ‘A’ is the only one these ‘free thinkers’ have been programmed to vote for and they are overwhelmingly the masses.
If only I had any qualifications, other than my class 1 licence, or a degree, I might be able to understand what this guff is all about. I love it when you pretendy intellectuals come on spouting this twaddle. Tell us what you have done to try to change this, obviously, poor state of affairs in this country, other than coming on occasionally to spew forth rubbish no doubt gleaned from some article found on the net. Plan B for after the next election is simple, laugh at ukips no show in parliament after people see them for what they are, the acceptable face of the national front as was, and the next incarnation of the bnp. Not being personal here obviously.
Dessy is voting for ukip because he wants a say in the European Parliament, good for you. If they win every seat this country has they will get 87 seats, out of 751, in a union they are sworn to get rid of. Good luck with that.

is that, or is it that other posters here represent the mob mentality that jump on the bandwagon of a charismatic person offering a simple answers that will believe solve all their problem and give a bloody nose to the establishment. And being part of the mob they feel in a position of power and will crush all those who disagree with them, firstly by shouting them down and insulting them, ultimately be destroying them.
excellent post Lorn Trakta.
My freedom came about 30 years ago when i bought my last ever newspaper, and decided to no longer listen to the state broadcaster mechanism via the goggle box, or its wireless henchman.
When you regain, or in some cases give birth to, your independent thought processes, you see the world differently and eventually come to despise those who brainwash and rule from cradle to death.
I sometimes pick up a free rag at a burger bar and leaf through it, little has changed in the intervening generation.
You do not need to pay for your own brainwashing, you can find out all you need to know on the internet from various sources from around the world, if you view enough opposing views, somewhere down the middle lies a little of the truth…this is the main reason for internet censorship which is coming soon, protecting the children apparently but darker forces are at work here.
Only back in '97 Blair was the saviour of Britain according to the bought and paid for media, till he turned out to be another wide boy currently cuddling up to the worlds despots in order to fill his pockets with lovely money, dear God there’s even talk of him returning to mainstream to hep Labour win again.
For the last 40 years in the game of musical chairs, the two main parties have swapped the keys to number 10 between them and all we’ve seen is the country led into the toilet, all thanks to traitor Heath in the first place who took us into the EU machine, even Thatcher at the time of the referendum lobbied for continued membership, the whole bloody cabal of traitors all in it together, she learned different and tried to back pedal many years later…which is when her party stabbed her in the back.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on politics, what worries me is that the vast majority of people are doing the bidding of the owners of the country via their daily dose of propaganda via the idiot box in the corner and the rest of the bought and paid for MSM.
The turkeys will vote for Christmas again next year by the million, yet again they’ll wonder why they get the same result, plucked stuffed and cooked, is there a more clear definition of lunacy.
For me it is very simple and that is we need to break the repetitive con/lab power game. As previously stated, Labour spend themselves out of power then the Conservatives spend their term trying to correct the mess all the while Labour bash the Cons for creating the mess that Labour in fact created.
This cycle needs breaking and we wont break it by all voting for different parties. The more people that vote for one party the more chance they have of getting into power and I’ll be damned if I see Labour in power again. If by voting Ukip I give the major 2 a bloody nose then that is how I will vote. I know I’m wasting my breath and effort but the politicians need to realize why they are there and what it is they should be doing.
The Liberals are dead in the water on their own and that is because their policies cater for the wrist wringers and Nimbys of society, those whom most of us try to avoid hence their lacking popularity. Labour and Conservative are much the same and don’t offer the public what they want, nor are they prepared to listen to their public which is total arrogance given that their public put them where they are. It’s really not surprising that we are all beginning to look for alternatives.
About 8-10 years ago I was reading adverts warning of a massive 150,000 driver shortage about to hit our country, indeed wages were good and going upwards but we were all aware of the floodgates about to open allowing the Polish workers to come here along with other member states. Slowly but surely foreign accents were heard in driver waiting areas and at the booking in windows and along with it the damage bills went through the roof. Cheap agencies who opened branches in Poland promising drivers pots of gold were actually winning work in the UK over our own drivers because they were cheaper and the agency made more profit from using them as opposed to their English counterparts.
Accidents and damage became the norm at many places and this needed addressing hence the invention of the dcpc. Wages suddenly froze and began to go into reverse, the recession hit hard and the cheapest thrived. No more driver shortage and no more pay rises. All this whilst Labour were in power. Obviously I wont be voting for them.
I don’t blame immigrants for wanting to improve their lots but I do think their should be a limit on the level of immigration allowed per year so as to keep a good balance between pay and social conditions. Our streets are becoming awash with Latvians, Rumanians and other “ians” stood around because they are not allowed to work. Pickpocketing is becoming an acceptable nuisance as is the mess associated with their new shanty type living areas. I visit my parents in an area that was once middle class no immigrants whatsoever and the place is now a mass of kebab shops and “ians” loitering putting the elders ill at ease. Burglaries have gone off the scale and the area is basically a ■■■■ hole.
Give me a party that is going to help stop this and they get my vote.
