I worry when trucknet appears as my “top external sources” in YouTube
I can except constructive criticism and understand I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, I don’t mind the digs, got to have thick skin if your going to put yourself out there.
To be fair you lads are not my target audience so it must be painful to watch, even I struggle to watch myself, most that watch my vids aren’t hgv drivers so I like to give a little insight into the job and hope to encourage others to go for it if it’s what they want to do, I don’t glorify anything, I just love the job I do and do it to the best of my ability.
Yes I have only been in the job for 18 months but the advice I give is theory based, seeing as I’ve recently learnt the theory side of things im well placed to help others, I’ve a lot of skills to learn before I can start banging on about anything else.

Anyway your all lucky I didn’t come on here threatening to take you all outside for a good punch up

Well live and let live I say, you don’t do anything wrong making your vids. If it helps people out well that’s a good thing right. I cannot abide that fastasafox personally but then that is just my opinion. There are people in all walks of life that will put you down for one reason or another. On here it is any reason, even breathing upsets people on here. I have had my fair share of those that are just plain negative but I just get on with it as I am way too important to allow them to upset me. Keep the videos going and ignore the haters as there will be more that find your content interesting.

I would rather watch trucker jay than that fatasafox any day of the week. I don’t actually know how he ever got a job driving. His last video he was saying he was racing his mate on the A1. Well ■■■■■■ great to hear, just another couple of idiots to watch out for!!

A lot of people who watch those vids are either people looking to get into the industry (thats where I started) or just looking because they love lorries. Some of us haven’t had our enthusiasm beaten out of us just yet and enjoy the job we do so why can’t we share it with others?

Some of you lot are never happy.

Cheers bud, I’ve been on here for many years so knew what I was letting myself in for (had to start a new account as couldn’t access my old one)

I found the forum massively helpful when I was getting into trucking and probably saved me a fortune by avoiding brokers so I’m not going to knock members for a bit of banter.

I’ll keep doing what I’m doing, stops me from going stir crazy in the cab

I’m not gonna lie Kev you got more balls than me, you stepped out of your comfort zone and put yourself out there and for that I have to take my hat off to you, your video editing is really good considering you’re still relatively new to it, I understand that fresh content is a problem due to the sameness of your drops but don’t worry too much about that just experiment with a few camera positions and angles combined with good editing and the same destinations wont seem such a problem, maybe try and do some good practical demonstrations as and when you can too.

I’m pretty fussy about who I sub to and even though I’ve watched all your videos to date I still haven’t subbed, but because of your attitude on here as well as in your videos that’s now about to change, sub incoming.

If he’s doing these vids on a break as he put it ’ for a chat ’ , are they classed as other work seeing as about his job? Does he get paid YouTube revenue ?

Does DVSA look and care and hunt these fiends down who flaunt the righteous rest periods ?
