Don Bur, Longton, Stoke on Trent.
SDC at Manfield.
Used to tramp round the UK with new trailers, we’d start at Crane Fruehaufs at North Walsham quite often going to Boalloys with a stack of 3 flats for them to turn them in Tautliners, both companies long gone.

Didn’t Nene Trailers make Spud bulkers? I’m sure I remember them and I’m sure I remember a company making spud bulkers round Terrington St Clements way and one between Downham Market and Swaffham.
Many years back I delivered the chassis sections to a company in Ipswich making skellys.

Boalloy had already finished Edward bought bits of an old business which went bust again, well documented on here. He was building horse boxes in Stratford
Boalloy were makers of the original Tautliner as we know them invented by Gerald Broadbent
