Come on Toby you forgot Peter Green Chilled, although I think they are quiet at the moment.
Does Peter Green do much European work nowadays? I saw one in our place at Vire the other day but apart from that don’t see them over here very much.

They do at least 2 trips to Germany for us every day but not sure what else. They have recently de-hired a few of their units due to quite times though.

Kingbrook and Heritage are the same firm arnt they
Kingbrook and Heritage are separate trading and limited companies… with the same MD and close trading ties.
Both run “An” amount of own units…and a number of now mainly foreign subbies.
Eat more chips that is Broughton transport ltd, they were once called Mortimers, they run fridges to Europe, they are based at Broughton Gifford near Melksham.Ask for Toby Ovens, the pay is 69 pounds per day plus night out pay.
Was that a typo Toby? Or did you really mean to write £69 per day? Please tell me that aint so.
No typo, they do pay that amount.
69 pounds per day is the wage to do round trip work to Europe
Wow.
I only normally read on here, though I have posted once before, but that info has amazed me, £69 a day to drive around Europe, is there any wonder that we are getting more and more European drivers over here.

I think this is an old wives tale, I’ve read on here before several years ago this was the rate but I’m sure it’ll be higher now. The bloke who owns/runs it has been on here before but don’t think he bothers now.
Well it is Toby saying it.
I don’t doubt that £69 a day has been their daily rate at some point.
How recent is anybodies guess.

Assuming they are paying the maximum allowable night out rate of £34.90/night and paying for 7 days per week, that would give a total ‘package’ of £727.30/week which isn’t quite as bad as the initial headline figure first sounds.
I can confirm the daily pay is only sixty nine pounds, ring Toby Ovens the boss man.
