I’m sorted now, but nice to see employers posting jobs on the forum! Gives us all a little bit of faith in what’s left of the UK haulage industry!

A search on here for surefreight comes back with some damming comments about their working practices or how they once where ,as I’m sure everyone knows things can/do change,I would hope they have changed for the better, as i for one wouldn’t be running outside the drivers hours or taking out a truck with defects that would get me a FPN & fine plus points on my licence ,

yeah but who would want to live in liverpool?

Liverpool?! we used to dream of Liverpool! When I was a lad… etc etc.

But seriously, anywhere near Lutterworth and there’s work aplenty, if you can’t find work then the problem isn’t the lack of jobs.

RobRob:
Where is it?

I am banging my head against a brick wall trying to find work up here. I have literally exhausted every avenue :frowning:

Basically, I want to work, need to work and am now thinking about travelling to the work. So, where should I start my search? The Midlands, North West, North East! Down South?

I’m probably being biased but I personally think Bristol has a lot to offer job wise due to It’s geographical location, you can get to West Cornwall, West Wales, Kent, Manchester etc all in a 4 1/2 hr drive,

try ntex at immingham not a bad job pay ok and dont bother you plenty of overtime,

There is a Hotspot for transport work, it is in a triangle bordered by Coventry, Leicester and Milton Keynes, and centring on Crick, Rugby sort of thing.
