The ERF was operated by WH Malcolm but the Merc was another operator
whose name escapes me.

Hello everyone,
Thankyou for your posts & photos. I’ve enjoyed looking at them. keep it up.
truckfing, The Mercedes looks like one of the Eddie Stobart UG lorries, but I’m not 100% sure.
toowise, Thankyou for that excelent photo. I though Cooper Buckley ran all the Mornflake lorries?
Kindest Regards

Only the artics Gill, all the rigids are run by two smaller companies, J.Leech & Sons and Amic Haulage. Theres a sort of unwritten gentlemans agreement that we dont do rigids and they dont do artics. Although Amic now has 2 artics but not in Mornflake.

That truck does not belong to us anymore, all the Volvos bar 3 in orange have been replaced by MAN TGA XXLs with a few smaller MANs
I’ll try and get some pics tomorrow Im only doing locals and am back and to the yard all day

Here are a few more starting with a couple of SJ Bargh from Lancaster. Usually easy to identify from the SJB registrations but not always. ARR Craib have quite a few in other liveries but fortunately put their own name on there as well. The feed wagon is from Prestons of Yarm and the Tetley is one of Elddis’s. The two fuel tankers are EXEL.

Just a few Gilbraith motors in customers livery from days gone by.

Russell.

Last ones for now. The two Knauf are from the same ■■■■■■■■ firm as the earlier
United Glass. The Pollocks, Way,and Docksey are given away by their reg. nos.
and the James and Carefoot fortunately have their owners name on them.
Gregorys deliver for Spar in the SW and the Appleby liveried Mercedes was
operated by Castle Cement at Clitheroe. The Kernow mixers Iveco was
originally in RMC colours which changed to Cemex. The Ladds livery did not
last for very long.

As far as i know DHL do the Boots contract, ive only seen them on the artics with the DD trailers so maybe DHL just do the depot trunking.

Hello
Many of the UK’s Haulage Operators (large and small) run lorries in there customers liveries. These can be quite interesting, complete with complex graphics which brighten up many lorries on the road.
So, how many of these ‘customer liveried’ lorries are there out there and who operates them? DHL, Eddie Stobart, Alan Firmin & WH Malcolm spring to mind.
So, come on, photos, company names and infomation on them would be fantastic.
Kindest Regards

P.S Truckfing, talking about Aberdeen, don’t ARR Craib run some lorries in custombers liveries?

ARR Craib do run a lot of wagons in customers liveries CG and I have some pictures but have not found them yet. I probably have a lot of pictures that I am unaware of the true owners. Last ones for a while will be this Lock tanker and K&P Iddon ERF. Iddons ran more than one of these, not sure how many exactly, and when the company was sold off ELW from Darwen bought them to get the work that went with them.

C ■■■■ no longer have the big contract for netto stores, as Asda took them over and converted all the netto stores to asda’s, asda own vehicles deliver to these strores now.

C ■■■■ purchased a deidicated fleet for this contract, they were yellow scania P340’s on KX59 plates

Truckerjames123, are you sure that DHL don’t manage the ASDA lorries? I always thought they managed them?

I think that ERF in the TRM livery was TRMs own - at least in the beginning it was. There were 3 originally and Johnsons borrowed one from TRM for a week to try it out. It must’ve impressed because Johnsons bought two of them from P&K on the strength of the trial. The TRMs have now been replaced with R-cab Scanias.

One of the three ex-TRM motors is now with J Turner - pulling a spud trailer.
