UK Gov loses again

Oh Heck! The government has lost yet another high court case against ClientEarth over it’s climate policy.

This morning, we won in court against the UK government over its inadequate climate strategy… for the second time.

The High Court has now told the UK government not once, but twice, that its climate strategy is not fit-for-purpose, and therefore is unlawful.

The Gov have been saying lots of nice words, making sweeping claims and promises, but have no credible plans?
Gosh, why isn’t this headlines everywhere?

from your link
“No more pie in the sky – this judgment means the government must now take real, credible action to address the climate crisis with a plan that can actually be trusted to deliver and with numbers that can be relied on."

Well They’d rather sweep it under the carpet as It isn’t going to make them popular with Joe public when they slap another ULEZ in place becausae it has more emissions than a sparrow breaking wind.,

ULEZ ?
Ah, another child with “paternity issues”…

No one voted for the High Court or the Climate scam.

The Labour government are dropping their legal defence in the high court case brought by Greenpeace & Clientearth to stop the new Rosebank & Jackdaw oil & gas fields in the North Sea.

They aren’t stopping them they are just being added to the reserves held by/for their see see pee handlers not to be used by us.
