Well,it takes somebody really ugly to be worse than you pal but I’ve got to agree with you there.
And that fly sheet wants sorting,perhaps there was no time to do it what with snap time looming and it did take a long time to swap trailers.

This was the prototype for the VW Transporter, it was designed by Ben Pol to move items around the VW factory and the idea caught on with the Management who decided that a commercial vehicle would be a good thing to complement the Beetle range.
You’re probably right about the chassis. This thing is so ugly it’s cute. It’s also right hand drive, so that pretty much narrows it down to Britain, South Africa or Australia/New Zealand. Those buildings have a very British look to them - was it operated here? I don’t recognise the name of the company on the side, but maybe somebody out there knows more…

It’s just that Tropical Cyclone Yasi is expected to reach here on Thursday and if it sees that picture of The Shunter it might want to go and tip it’s load somewhere else .
