Every truck I’ve driven has a “plate”, the paper bit that states axle weights. We have two new vehicles in our yard that don’t have them, they have a tin manufacturers plate but no paper one. Is it a legal requirement to have this plate fitted before the truck can be used commercially?
No. They’re not normally issued until 1st MOT but can be requested earlier.
