Hi,just a quick question that ill try and keep as simple as possible.i work 8 hours a day doing short local work for a building firm usually between 10-15 deliverys a day 7:30 start 16:00 finish I then go on to another firm and do around 3 hours mixed driving/work.my question is,can I count the unpaid time traveling in own van between operating centres as break? Also how should I be recording this time? Simply as break time? Thanks.

The time between jobs does not need recording at all
Ok thanks,driving between operating centres usually takes about 20mins could i use that as a 15 min break and take another 30 min break wilst on second shift if presuming I needed it after 4.5 hours culumitive driving during the two shifts?

I can see no reason why you cannot do that because that 20 min period will be deemed as rest/break by VOSA etc
I will defer to anyone who says different and can point out why not
