Two jacknifes today in a quarter mile

I20 Georgia, sudden downpour, some 4 wheel drivers stop dead (some pull onto the shoulder) some slow right down with 4 ways on, but two trucks jacknife, one into the median, one into the ditch and a box van spins out into the median as well. I hate the storms on the highways with car drivers being totally clueless as to what to do, apart from continuing to tailgate each other.

I was in a queue last week and as a convoy pickup came towards me at the end of the roadworks where I was waiting with the flagman. He ran down into the ditch to let his convoy through, but the 2 cars directly behind him followed him into the ditch, and had to manoeuvre out before we could set off!

Ha ha … Classic
When I worked for the septic company after moving here I delivered the tanks that go under the temporary office buildings etc, I delivered to a road construction site south of Albany one day, I had yellow flashing beacons on my truck and was flagged through the cones into the workers compound to deliver a tank, when i got out of the cab there were 3 cars behind me
This country has idiots for drivers.

Pat Hasler:
This country has idiots for drivers.

LOL Pat, been trying to ignore it for ages, but it’s getting to me!

Driving under the influence of alcohol is bad enough, but as I keep saying, driving while being American is far more dangerous.

First sign of rain here and I back off because I know whats comming
It’s gonna be slowing to a crawl because these twonks are too scared to keep going, it wouldn’t be so bad if they at least pulled into the right lane but they stay out there in the middle or left lanes and cause chaos.

…and then theres the fools in their grey/silver/black cars who may or may not turn on their hazard lights in heavy rain, but will never, I repeat NEVER turn on their bloody head lights! How I’d love to ram them off the road if only I could get away with it legally and do minimal damage to my truck.
