Out of the 50,000+ members of these forums over 34,000 have never posted, sometimes it’s easy to see why
Although some questions asked on these forums may seem obvious to people who know the answer it’s still better to ask than not to, as far as the OP being able to find the answer on the Internet is concerned, isn’t that exactly what he was trying to do until he was berated for for taking the trouble to check on something he’s been told.

No. The OP made no attempt to find the answer via the internet. If he had, he would not have asked on here. If he had found an answer, to any question, but still was unsure he could then put the question to the good people on here. Still, he ask unlike the muppets around him and many others elsewhere who can’t be bothered.
Where has the title of this post gone ,? all i see is a , comma

The last time I looked Trucknet-UK was on the Internet, in fact unless you have direct access to the Trucknet server the Internet is about the only way you will get onto Trucknet-UK.

There is absolutely no excuse for asking such a stupid question, even if you are new to driving ffs
Better to ask than to chance a legal infringement
There are many stupid answers
It’s better ROG for the op to learn the basics before setting foot in a lorry. And if he was really interested he could have found the answer and all the regulations in 30 seconds on the internet. But he can’t be bothered to do that so asked the question on here instead.
Probably if he did a search on the internet he would have ended up on trucknet anyway. And whats wrong with asking questions on here, I’ve asked many which to some might have been blindingly obvious, but at least those people had the courtesy to answer them.
Nope…I googled 45 hour weekly rest and got the answer without clicking on the link.
What this one ■■
google.co.uk/?gfe_rd=cr&ei= … st&spell=1
‘EU drivers’ hours rules’ - Gov.uk
gov.uk/drivers-hours/eu-rules
The main points of EU rules on breaks and rest are that you must take: … between any two weekly rest periods; an unbroken rest period of 45 hours every week …
Gee nick…where u get them from?

Im just trying to find out if you can get away with it been told before that you can. not every one know everything like some of you think you do.
Hi dominic,
From your post, I suspect that you maybe had an idea that what you’d been told was incorrect.
BTW, I’ve reconstructed your post and topic title because deleting it made the whole thread look silly with just a comma as the title.

Switch it’s like this. I just can’t be bothered been nice to someone who is clearly stupid. This is a guy who does Euro tramping and he doesn’t know the basics . Why? Because he’s too lazy to look it up. In the time it took to log-in here and post a new thread he could have had the answer to every question he’d ever dreamed off. But no… doh…I think I’ll ask this on Trucknetuk doh.
btw… loaded pig skin up your way last week…near Oldcastle, [zb] of nowhere as usual

Ive often wondered why people post daft things on trucknet ,then moan when thay get slated, when theres google the peoples freind
Why bother with google when you can ask another person on an open forum

And if two people say you can and two say you can’t then what? To post a question on an open form and then wait for an answer when he could have the answer in a couple of seconds does not make sense. And sure… didn’t he ask the dim-witted muttonheads around him still, he did ask so I’ll give him that.
