Top issue is that if it’s not a Euro VI engine you might end up paying lots of CAZ charges. And a 12 reg could only have a Euro VI if it had had an engine replacement as the VI’s only came in from 2015 onwards
No experience myself, but here is a thread from a few years ago.
One interesting comment there I think, since you are going to need O-Licence etc etc, is there much advantage in sticking to 7.5T? Going to 12T will make weights much easier to manage, and give more choice of vehicle.

I’ve driven Isuzu N75 but it was much newer, a 69 plate. The low down cab is fairly basic but its good for urban stuff, being lower. The gearbox (auto) is good to, at least from a driving point-of-view. The radio was terrible but I think it was a weird dual-DIN aftermarket thing.
I’d not fancy regular long distances in it but I guess if you don’t have the choice or budget for something better…
