how do i get tv programs on laptop as my sounds just gone on telly,ive got a optimax aeriel so do i need some kind of digital dongle.?
unless you have a tv card built into your laptop you will need a dongle, I would recomend you get one that has digital and anologue for when you are in poor signal areas, try Maplins

I have one like this works a treat also has an adapter so you can plug in an ordinary tv ariel I used to get a good picture most places

I’ve been looking for something like that. Not so much for the Digital TV, but more to listen to the radio when the RDC Stasi take the keys.
Having seen your link, I asked the seller three questions.
- Does it receive analogue radio?
- Does it receive analogue TV?
- Does it receive Secam as well as PAL?
The reply to all three was “Yes”.
Can you confirm?
In which case it would certainly be an adition to my Xmas ‘wish list’.

1,yes it will as well as digital radio (5 live extra bbc 7 wtc)
2,yes but analouge tv is being turned off over next few months (bbc2 already off in manchester area)
3, not to sure but most tv with inbuilt digy tv can alter to secam but on tv dongle you can set it to different countries using the dongle software but not sure about windows media centre although i assume you can
