Pity, Iād have laughed my ā ā ā ā off if heād won just to see all the long faces.
So bearing that in mind, I should also be as thankful as the rest.

thats us screwed then
I know I come across with flippancy on all this stuff, if only just to wind up one or two on here, but if I can put my serious head on for a minuteā¦
I never take stuff on face value,.especially when some sort of authoritative body is involved,.so bearing that in mind, I really think there was the age old underhandedness, hidden agenda scenario and things not exactly as they appeared vibe going onā¦(.ābusiness as usualā when it comes to politicians and MPs btw)
So when Boris got shafted under the guise of all that āpartygateā b/s,.I really think that it was their intention to get Sunak in asap as a replacement, but they needed to go through the recognised and traditional procedure to do so,.rather than just āput him inā.
So with a bit of tactical voting, jiggery pokery,.and smoke and mirrors they manipulated things to put him up against a no hoper, thinking the result would be a forgone conclusion after all the canvassing and campaigning, but it went ā ā ā ā up for them, and the result they wanted didnāt happenā¦(a lot of similar type tactics went into the Brexit referendum, where they also got a bloody nose and not the result they expected)
I aināt no political expert but I had not even heard of Liz ā ā ā ā Truss before all this, even if she was the Minister of paper clips, or bog rolls or whatever her job was.
But then the unexpected happened and she got in and the rest is history.
And who is the favourite contender.?
Yep Sunakā¦, unless of course Penny whatās her face scupper their plansā¦sheās kinda fit incidentally also btw
As I said, I aināt an armchair British Politics expert, it is just my theory, and I believe little that I am told, but no doubt the real armchair experts will come on and tell me Iām talking ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā .
I agree they didnt like boris because he got brexit done in 3 months when all may did in 3 years was get us a worse deal than what we had. As you said the tories never wanted brexit they were quite happy living off the fat from low wages and imported labour.
I honestly belive that boris was for the people as much as any mp / pm is. Alot of all the lockdown stuff that he was harrased with wasnt anything to do with him he never did anything illegal and as to whats his face getting spotted getting his eyes checked so what is boris supposed to be his motherā ā ?
As for penny mordent or what ever her name is first thing she did when she got into the dwp was announce that universal credit or job seakers or what ever they want to call it wasnt going to hand an anual increase as previously stated but she would give one forthe disabled benefit. However what she did in practice was raise the benefit cap on those working from £430 pw to £520 p/w a 21% increase the disability rate (highest rate) went up from £82.30 to £83.10 a 1% increase in a year that inflation was 2.5%. Next year she abolished the benefit to help pay intrest on a morgage if you lost your job so you could keep your house instead you had to take out a loan

Boris didnāt get BREXIT done at all.Heās maintained the EU rules and regulations and alignment and ācontributuonsā meaning BRINO not BREXIT.If anyone supposedly supports BREXIT why wouldnāt they support David Davis for PM who was part of the Grass Roots Out campaign.
As opposed to Boris who wasnāt, leaving the question why.
Boris is just a typical London politician who is closer to Khan than UKIP on Europe and the nuke fuelled utopia at £1 per kWh so our oil and gas can be exported.
It looks like we are getting an out of touch billionaire in Sunacker . This has to stop these people are only interested in their own bank accounts!
We need proper peoples people in politics and not these eton W- Bankers.
More taxes and attacks upon the working class to come then.
Boris got the message I see.
would think theres a real downside to being a PM, the assassination threat ,24 hour bodyguards who wants to live like that looking over yer shoulder.
RS got it

I aināt too fond of any of them of any political party, (despite me maybe coming across as āāsticking upāā for BJ ).
But I put a post on here a while ago,.suggesting what about Angela Rayner as PM?
Just go with it for a minuteā¦
Sheās a down to earth type of lass, reckons she would take a hard line on criminals, saying something about āābreaking down doorsāā of known criminals and āāshooting first ask questions laterāā on terrorists.
Sheās also seen a bit of life herself having a tough upbringing, from a broken home, and pregnant at 16,.and definite working class roots.
A proper feisty āāNorthern lassāā albeit a but gobby, but nowt wrong with that.
Ok, she doesnāt speak with a plum in her gob, but when she does speak she says what she means.
Bit of a curveball character compared to the usual Eton/Harrow/Oxbridge intelligentsia., but look at the f/ups they have made in the past ā¦
Maybe just what WE need eh?
Sunakā¦what a slime ball he looks.

Which of the following does Sunak NOT agree with:
1: The Wealthy are not rich enough.2: The Middle Class is over-populated.3: The Working Class are lazy.4: The Poor are overpaid.
The trouble (one of the many ātroublesā) is that Sunak isn`t right wing enough for the ERG.
He was a Brexiteer from the start, but a realistic one. He voted for Mays deal. The ERG and other extremists want a harder Brexit. They don
t want the one that the Leave Campaign fought for, that want something far harder.
It suits their economic ideals to have the UK as an off-shore tax haven for them, with a low tax, low welfare society. And they are happy to see low wages as part of this: āwere giving you more of your pay, so you don
t need the NHS!ā
A nasty wee group directing what was once a balanced Conservative party. The de-selection of anyone not toeing the party line has led to a swing to the right of the whole party, but even so this group is right out by itself.

Define āsoft BREXITā in terms of taking back control from EU government and stopping EU ācontributionsā.
Which weāre the foundations of the Leave campaign.
Which not surprisingly the party which took us into the EUSSR had no intention of delivering.
Which is why May and closet LibDem Boris replaced Cameron not David Davis after Cameronās rigged Referendum wasnāt rigged well enough.
Sunak is just another version of May.
Franglais:

As opposed to youāve got the NHS so you donāt need to ask for the wages to pay for it.
With the win win that we control it and if we think youāre too expensive to treat well just triage you onto Liverpool Pathways.
Remind me how does the German health care system work in that regard.
Just seen Truss make her departure speech.
The arrogance of the woman.
Not a hint of humility, not a sign of any apologetic stance, body language,.explanations or any admittance of failureā¦not even any attempt to explain her epic short term ā ā ā ā up,.for which she may have been able to gain some kind of public sympathy., but she aināt interested.
And off she pops to collect her 100+k for her trouble, literally ātroubleā btw
.
Good riddance I reckon.

Sunakā¦what a slime ball he looks.
Heās ok by me, he paid me two thirds of my wage for sitting on my arse in the sun in garden for 2 months a couple of years ago.
(Bait cast,.weighted, and chucked out to sea )
Seriously though, he does come across as being confident and competent, not to mention keen⦠but as a member of the upper middle class is he in touch with and has he any empathy with the working classes that provide him with much of the funds he needs to sort the whole cluster ā ā ā ā of the mess out.
Jury still out,.we will undoubtedly see.

You seem to have missed the fact that she tried to save us from the energy policy and resulting price nightmare that the climate scammers are going to hit us with.
As youāll see by April.
Might as well rip out the central heating and get used to cycling everywhere now.
