In Decembers issue of New Zealand trucking magazine"Truck and Driver" there is an advertisement for trucking careers with Linfox,large Australasian transport company,and what caught my eye in the ad was “Suitably qualified OVERSEAS applicants welcome”

New Zealand have a severe driver shortage and anyone interested in emigrating this could be your foot in the door.Why else would they highlight the Overseas applicants boldly?
Funny that they’d highlight it, but do so in a regional publication…
The object of placing it in a local is plain to see 
They want people over there to tell relatives about it

Urm - no Pat, after laying out on lawyers, and cold weather clothing… I’ve got to get a years worth at least out of them… I’m staying in Canada. Besides, if I wanted to drive trucks in a nation where 3 hours in a straight line would put me in the ocean, I’d have sayed home
