Still no photos who won the prizes i hope a couple of different trucks came away with some silverware,it allways seem to be the same names the last few years who won

We were there, had an awesome weekend.

Personally i still think it should be free to take your truck, end of the day thats what the public are paying to see and there is hell of alot of people that go to truckfest,im not calling truckfest one bit if i had a truck worth showing i would take it,its just my thoughts on the matter ,
If you come to our motorcycle race meetings as a competitor, you will pay to enter, you will have to buy Methanol from us and you will not cover your costs even if you win every heat and both finals. It doesn’t stop them coming because the riders know, that to run an event it is not cheap, the riders are covered by proper insurance and families looked after if you kill yourself. The entrants want to be there, they want to compete.
Meanwhile spectators come in for free.
My mates son took his FH500 to Truckfest for the weekend, it grew over the weekend and he left with an extra 250 horses.
I think any show has a cheek to charge exhibitors.(Tat merchants and rot vans excepted) If it wasn’t for them there’d be no show. What does the £40odd entry fee pay for? Some trophies? You can’t tell me something as large as Truckfest wont make a profit without ripping off those who make it happen to begin with.
Were CDC at TF, peddling junk?

nope
Live Promotions wanted £12,000 for the plot that CDC usually have, rightfully so, CDC told them to shove it
£12k? That’s an awful lot of dreamcatchers.
Within the grounds things where poorly signposted and when you asked a stewart or security personnel they hadn’t a clue and just walked off and left you !!!
Showers where also at a premium or should I say that the amount of them was ridiculous for the amount of people on site I counted 8 in total.
i went for the weekend and it was free to show the truck. its not what you know its who you know
i’ve been as a day visitor before but being a truckfest virgin with a truck i had a great time even though i didn’t see much going on in the main arena, got to meet lots of people and had a real good natter and a few beers with some. weather was fantastic and the only down side was the price of the food but i suppose they have to cover costs of the pitch and getting out took over a hour.
jonboy
I stopd going to live promotions shows years ago and find the better ones are the smaller ones with not a celeb or monster truck in sight the best ones are the ones that Steve Horne does tied in with the truck racing I find
I no a lot of people put the effot in on showing there trucks at p boro and fair play to them but for me it’s just one big commercial rip off
Which trucks won the prizes ,cant find it any where on the net

Its seems to be the same winners each year, surely even the judges are getting fed up with the same trucks winning and should give someone else a look in
