did a 15 min assesment, just a little drive and show me where things were on the truck and thats it, passed it, almost tried to get me in there to work tomorrow night lol!!

they guy who did mine did say normally they take me out to another town etc but as they are pretty busy atm they would do a small one and see how i was, helps that my mate works there and in my current job im assistant manager for a retail store so it shows im responsible so im sure that helped to! just drive normally and dont be silly and you will be fine!

Did my first work in a class 2 yesterday. Was so stressed out as my sat nav haddent arrived so it sent me where I shouldnāt have gone a few times that and its been over a month since Iād last sat in one.
Car drivers park in really stupid places. Nearly took an idiots wing mirror off getting into a construction site. They will have found them folded today as I folded them up before I exited (trying to make a pointā¦ Probably didnāt get through 
)
Got everything back in one piece thoughā¦ On a 7.5 ton tomorrow
My dash cam works a dreamā¦ Even had the other drivers at the place drooling over it lol

I canāt work out what youāre saying there TrogFather. You donāt have the SatNav, or you do mate?
If not, perhaps it sent the postman to the wrong address!
As for car drivers; what other purpose do you think they have on the road other to get in your way!

Mine has free updates, but not doe it yet, as donāt want to brick it before i properly test it.
For non PC geeks - āBrick itā means kill it during a software update! (i.e. it becomes as useful as a brick!)
Wondering whether to sell my tom tom 5150 as all the trucks at my new job are all fitted with truck sat navs and have integrated phones and Europe atlases so no need to take half of my stuff now

I donāt know if I want to go for the tomtom or notā¦I keep thinking the paper map/atlas surely must be better? please convince me why I need a sat-navā¦is it traffic updates?
I have downloaded the Aponia app and will give that a try while I decide if to buy the tomtom or not
nope not traffic updates, they are ā ā ā ā in this country. Look at the link I originally posted this sat nav is amazing would highly recommend, you donāt have time for map reading all the time. Get in to the spirit of things be lazy, use a sat nav

You might have seen that Ash and I got ours the same day last week. Iāve not tested mine really, but it looks OK.
Iāll test it properly on Saturday, but for Ā£40, even if itās just average, and not as polished as a TomTom, itās a hell of a lot cheaper.
Ashās should be a bit better, as he paid Ā£70 for his I think.
