It’s just a light hearted comedy drama, not a documentary on trucking, can’t see anyone taking it as anything else to be honest.
That never stopped Stobbys programme being taken serious by some. 
That’s covered by the word sad.

Some interesting posts, I gave it ten minutes, what absolute trash, Some comments were in favour and I concluded that perhaps these people were probably local shunters, how on earth can anyone with knowledge of trucking appreciate such a prog: where on earth did the makers get their technical details from ? Based on your comment I assume you think programmes like Eastenders, CSI, Homeland, Emmerdale, Fireman Sam are all true to life in every way !!

I’m a Shunter I’ve been in road transport for over 35 years with many of these years trying to educate non transport people that not all lorry drivers ( I use the term lorry driver because that’s what I am not a trucker they live in America )that we don’t all eat fry ups yorkie bars and we don’t all murder prostitutes judging by some of the comments on here I bet some of these so called professional drivers ooops I meant "Truckers " are the ones that block the fuel pumps as they’re supping their amazon grown coffee without thinking of pulling forward so the next lorry can fill up or park in the middle of a lay by so nobody else can pull on and even park in the coach bays because they can’t be bothered to walk crap in carrier bags then chuck it out the window vandalise toilet and wash facilities at services and transport cafés so then you having to go without because your told there shut drive they been trashed again so I wouldn’t belittle shunters cos one day you’ll probably need them I respect most drivers what come in to our place because I’ve been there and done it and by the way I’m still learning

watched it and have to say what a pile of cxxp,if a business was run that way it would go bust within a week,the part where the boss said his driver is now doing 80mph towards the city centre,they never seem to be working, only concentrating on their personal lives and using their vehicles to do so like i said load of cxxp, having said that it is what others are saying,just a comedy

The driver who’s wife had left him because he was never home and wanted to keep everything for herself was about the only realistic thing. Happened to me but being truthful I was glad to see the back of the big fat @rsed lump …

Yes it was cringe worthy at times, and I thought it was full of gratuitous references to the industry in the first ten minutes. Probably would’ve been better if they just concentrated on their personal lives, just showing them driving from time to time would’ve been fine. But it doesn’t deserve the criticism it’s getting here. Do you lot write to mgm and complain that tom and jerry is bs, because you’ve never seen a mouse hit a cat with a rolling pin ffs, it’s light hearted, don’t sweat it

I need to get out more. In final scene I instantly recognized the blur background was nottingham city centre because of the sign/post in background!

Its tongue in cheek and if any one on here thinks its meant to be real life, its not. Quite enjoyed it.

That made me laugh too 
Within 15 seconds of watching the program I realised I need to get out more since I knew the MSA from the opening credits instantly.
Actually quite enjoyed the program
those saying its crap etc and not real are kidding themselves… you really think yer mrs isnt giving cooking instructions on the blower while your away
