Truckers complaints

The most common I suspect is Hemorroids. AKA…Farmers. Chalfonts. Piles.
Anyone gonna admit to being a sufferer? They sure are a pain in the a rse.

Not me, i got a bad back (lower) from jumping off the sides and backs of trailers, i tend to pull the steps out to get in/out the back of a trailer nowadays, learnt my lesson, just 20yrs too late

find the song by dave dudley about truckers and hemorroids

Good title…the list will be endless! :unamused:

+1

Bad back caused by years of driving on crappy Irish roads and jumping down off trailers etc etc. Now waiting to get 2 discs removed and replaced with metal rods oh and because of the medication I have to take everyday (Morphine) to cope with the pain I’ve no licence :frowning: :frowning: and cant even drive a car

I had my farmers cut out 18 years ago, and don’t miss 'em one bi. Except, that I started ■■■■■■■ in a totally different accent :astonished: Before the op, depending on the state of the grapes, I could make 'em squeal out, much to the delight of most, and the extreme annoyance to a few :grimacing: But after the op, they just sounded like normal ■■■■■

They just snip 'em off these days, under general anaesthetic of course.
In and out same day, home for tea.

Trapped nerve in my back which shoots an agonising pain down my left leg, had loads of physio but nothing changes. just got to put up with it now!!!

Jeez, sorry to hear about the loss of your comedy pumps there. I also could do some real high pitched squeaky ones, but like you had them removed. It didnt cure me completely mind, still had trouble. I put it down to the fact that Im quite a “windy” person and have always thought of ■■■■■ as a party trick, even when not at a party! I used to get plenty pressure behind them for max volume. Since I stopped this immature behaviour me Chalfonts have disappeared totally, but i miss the fun and admiring glances that a good loud pump could get me.

(joking aside, if you are are a sufferer, drink plenty of water every day and resist the urge for “showstopping” ■■■■■, get on the bog and get off asap…NO READING! and they`ll go away). Simples.

Hope this helps.

No you don’t. I had a discectomy 12 years ago. I had the same symptoms as you. Have you had it explained to you what’s happening why your nerve is trapped?
The discs in your back have a jelly like substance between them. The jelly bulges when damaged, like when you squeeze a water balloon. The bulge presses on your sciatic nerve causing the pain. Get an MRI scan done, they will show you which discs have prolapsed. In my case L3/ L4. Then you should be given the option of an op. I tried it all, physio, pain killers etc…Had to face the op as I was in bits for months. I even developed Scoliosis(Curvature of the spine) Thought that sorted itself off thank God. Get it sorted and good luck.

Have something similar myself, Doc prescribed pain killers for 5 yrs, and it just got progressivly worse, to the point the pain killers weren’t working.

Currently seeing a osteopath, and its working wonders. Pain gone after 2 visits, currently gets niggly after 5 weeks (but see him every 5 weeks), but doing more things than I did in the past

It does cost you though, can’t get it on NHS, but its well worth it

Aha…no one has explained to me about why the pain is there, I knew it was something to do with the sciatic nerve, but the doc has always said its down to my job and the whiplash I suffered several years ago in a head on collision in a car. He has always said there’s nowt they can do, but I shall now demand an MRI!!! Thanking you for this info!!!

When your “doctor” complains of an unexplained sore neck to his own doctor. You can advise him it’s from the punch up the throat you may have given him!

Here’s a pic of an MRI scan with a prolapsed disc. Count 5 up from the bottom and you’ll see what I had. And what you may have. Give your quack a kick in the ■■■■■■■■ too! :sunglasses:

I’ll get kickin’

earlier this year i got a abcess right on my ■■■■ hole   , i was in bloody agony and tbh i was hoping it would " disappear " , rather than face a uneasy time down at the local hospital . It balooned to the size of a golf ball b4 i gave in and went to the hospital , they operated and i spent a week in hospital and a total of 2 and half weeks on the pat n mick.

Abcess or pilonidul sinus? I had them for years right at the top of my crack. Serves me right for having an hairy arse! :open_mouth:

Take it from me,that sounds like sciatica and is the worse pain I have ever had, thought it was terminal, like a hot wire from my buttock ,down the back of my thigh and calf to my big toe.
Doctor put me on pain killers that were as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike!
See a physiotherapist, the only real cure, surgery is a last resort,it took me a long time to get over, but after two years I am now ALmost normal but still do the exercises.
If you can,get a book called,“Cure your own back”,written by a guy called Alexander, all good physios use that book as it’s widely accepted as the bible of back pain relief.
The only legacy of it now is pins and needles in my big toe.
