Truck Mattresses

Last truck I had to overnight was in an R series scania and couldn’t fault the Mattress quality only complain Was having to push the seat back Against the filler which wasn’t a great idea I might be going out in a 2019 Volvo fh globetrotter, and want to know what the quality is like , and if not great is it possible to purchase
Mattress toppers for trucks also fitted sheets .

Just get yourself some memory foam - it doesn’t have to be a custom fit - then you can move it to different cabs if you need to. As for a fitted sheet I find a standard single bed one does the job well enough. You can go to great expense getting things specifically made for trucks, but it’s not always necessary.

I personally wouldn’t bother with any custom made truck stuff, spend your money on the quality rather than the custom fit. Just go to Dunelm or wherever and spend your money on good quality bedding for a single bed - it’s fits well enough for me. The fitted sheet is a bit of a baggy fit, but doesn’t really cause a problem.

Buy a single matress topper …it works ok in a man truck.
I didn’t have one for years then decided to get one about 6 months ago best thing ever bought suprisd how much difference it. Made
I bought a silent night one

Thanks I’ll look into one of them and see how I get on

Take a look at Bunk bed size fitted sheets, duvets and duvet covers, they’re a little smaller than single sized ones and ideal for truck mattresses, and the bunk bed fitted sheet isn’t baggy like a standard single fitted sheet

Yup. Around £4 at Asda.

I bought one a few years ago for a XFSSC, and although you have the front lump shape of the mattress on an XF, it still managed to stretch to fit and looked the dogs.
