So Wednesday I was thinking pasta for my lunch, quick and easy.
Has my stove boiling away as I’ve done hundreds of times before. Stood up to open the windows and knocked the pan handle with my leg, whole pan all over my foot and ankle, queue much swearing and screaming 
Didn’t have 10 minute supply of cold water so just wrapped it with cling film. Hurt like hell for about an hour, just a bit sore now.
Planned to go to a and e after I’d finished but there was a qualified nurse at the last place I delivered to so she dressed and bandaged it properly. At my local hospital now having it checked…
My 3rd in a run of bad luck so on the bright side I should be ok for a while now.
