I paid £25 and its been fine with my tv and ipad.
I i have only tonight and tomorrow to deal with this challenge 
So maplin for inverter 300w and tv from gumtree if im lucky anyhow that freeview does need any aerial or just plug it in and will be working thanks
How about if i use my own stick.as a aerial, only problem is i may wave it a bit at services until i catch a signal :-S

get a 24v inverter doesnt put as much strain on one the batteries then coz you could find that one morning goto start and there just not enough humph to get her going int he morning had this problem till i switched to a 24v inverter

I asked if they could show me the picture quality… At first they didn’t want to, making up a load of excuses… I said I was not prepared to buy it without seeing it work…
They begrudgingly agreed and tried to tune in the TV with the arial supplied… They could not get any signal… So we took it outside and again could not get any signal… So they hitched it up to a bigger arial and tried again… Still no signal …
So as you can guess I didn’t buy it because it clear didn’t work… Which was ashamed as I really wanted it to be able to watch the news and the accaisional dvd…
