Although I am not a prolific poster on here, I have been a member for a good long while, and pop in most days.
Not usually one for complaining, but I am getting increasingly annoyed by the couple of “trolls” that have cropped up lately.
It is now getting to the point where if I see a post by one of these idiots, I dont even bother reading it,
Is there anything that can be done mods?
I didn’t actually know what an ‘Internet Troll’ was until one started on TNUK.

The Mod/Admin team tends to spot trolls quite quickly.
However, please understand that we can’t edit/delete posts simply because we may not like the person, or what they’ve said.
Action can only be taken against those who post without respecting the forum rules.
When this is the case, fairness (and forum rules) dictates that they get a warning, then we keep an eye on them.
What they do next is then entirely up to them. 
You do have the option to place any member(s) on your ‘ignore’ list, then you won’t see what they’ve written, or you can simply skip any posts that a ‘troll’ makes. You also have the option to click the little ‘report’ triangle on any post if you believe it breaks any of the forum rules.

It happens every couple of months, some prat appears as another user or anonymous and causes a few ripples, most of them are harmless and make themselves look rather foolish 
If they dont, then we make them appear foolish.
Definition of an Internet Troll
Internet trolls are people who fish for other people’s confidence and, once found, exploit it.
Trolls are various in nature and the type of damage they do ranges greatly, such as:
Cause irritation to others
Disrupt an email list or online group
Steal money
Obtain credit card details
Build false hopes
Abuse children

Yeah i noticed. The other thing i noticed is that whilst you are quick to report others for ‘trolling’ you then go ahead and do it yourself?

Nothing wrong with a bit of trolling. Keeps people on their toes. Like the Mod said, if you disagree with it just block them.
Right, it’s time for me to get back on the road after my 10 minute break otherwise I will go over my 16 hour working hours limit and have to take an 8 hour rest period before I can start work again at 3 AM

There, that should cover most of the potential replies and stop this thread becoming multi-paged.
