Agree about the Skyliners. Then again when we did shuttles to salou or wherever we didnt get time to sleep when i was on Derek randalls a 760 aec reliance plaxton body with e type seats. try sleeping on those buggers lol. but if you really wanted to suffer either a Jonkhere Bermuda or a mcw metroliner. bloody terrible. best bunk i had was a Ayats apollo. bigger than my bedroom at home.

Worst -Neoplan Skyliner Double-decker coach - bunk at rear of vehicle, part of luggage compartment - right next to Merc. V10 engineā¦NO!!! not good!!!
Drove this Neoplan Skyliner a few times. I was sweating buckets after loading luggage, what with the heat from the engine in the compartment. As for the bunk, Iāll never know how anybody got any sleep in there with the luggage right beside you. Luckily, I never had to try it out.

Mr Neil Pegg now owner of city circle. what a first class w&*$er
Citycat - Yes, my mistake the 8-wheeler is the Megaliner & the bendi-decker is the Jumbocruiser. At Kettlewells we also had 2 x Jetliners that went like the clappers & were great to drive.
Dunnno about turning this into a coach forum - I canāt see a problemā¦Iām a fan of all commercial transport - LGVās, coaches & busses but I think my heart and soul will always be in the coaching industry - even though I left it over 12 years ago!!!
Maybe Boris should start getting these for the streets of London??
(1:22 onwards is the more interesting bit)
Sod sleeping in one of those bunks!
Update one journey
The 2 drivers that took the kids, drove to dover then changed over with 2 more at dover,
The 2 new ones did the continental bit, and stayed with them in Austria
Then on return to dover, jumped out and got in a car.
Long day for them 2
