Bit of a long shot, does anybody recall a cafe on the A1 that had a tree inside it?? Allegedly. I’m not sure if someone’s pulling my tail.

That’s rings a bell somewhere in the fog that is my memory, was it not somewhere in the Doncaster area?? I recall there was a pub or café called the
Boot & Shoe and there was somewhere near there with a tree on the inside. When Larry Dunbar finally sobers up from the NE Drivers reunion ( held this very afternoon) he may be able to help.

Hatfield, Doncaster or Hatfield down south?
Theres a Green Tree Inn at Hatfield, Doncaster but no mention of a tree inside.
Nobody??
Yes it was left hand side travelling south, I think about 5 miles north of Pontefract, but was bulldozed for the new A1(M).
