Travis Perkins Warrington

So I tipped there this morning. Been many a time before. There was the usual crap as expected - hard hat, hazards on, only one side open at a time.

However they didn’t take my keys or put a stop sign up. But when I was in the goods in office there is now a big sign on the brew machine saying drivers aren’t allowed to take a drink from there out of that office unless it’s transferred into a sealed flask.

Why? Under what possible health and safety has some plonker decided that?

They are no longer bothered about a driver potentially driving off with their curtain open whilst being tipped, but taking a brew from their brew machine across the yard back to your truck is a big no no

Went travis perkins in kendal. The yard was busy I seen flt driver said im.im no rush. Anyway some.manager came over said park on the busyish road out front open up offload you there. Talk about double standards. Usually have be marshalled in cones out etc .

Maybe they have had drivers throwing cups on the yard when they have finished drinking?

Been quite a lot there and never seen that happen, never seen litter in the yard. But If that is the case then what next? No drivers allowed to use toilet because someone has ■■■■■■ on the seat?

This is actually happening at some places…

Not any more, there has been a new law introduced that enforces the basic human right to use the bathroom.

Well there should be a human right that allows me to get a 20p brew in a plastic cup having started at 3am and already worked 4 hours, then walk to my truck with it and place it in the cup holder to then consume as and when I wish when I’m not undoing curtains etc

You should get it for free, but that’s where we are now…
