I’ve been looking for a driving school in my area I have come across a couple of company’s that driver training & the prices don’t seam that bad
Has anyone used a trainer like this before and are they any good
Without any company names or anything like that we can’t tell you anything. The general message is though that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

In my experience, basic driver training carried out by hauliers is poor. But they can offer excellent post-test training that no driving school could possibly provide.
There are exceptions to every generalisation and I’m sure some hauliers have got extremely good basic training facilities; it’s just that I don’t know them.
I believe that hauliers should haul and trainers should train. Each to their own.

Widdowsons haulage is deffo one of those exceptions as per hearing of experiences of them by the trainees - I think there is a diary of such on this site …
