I’ve passed my theory and hazard perception, now it is time for the practical training. I’ve seen some local companies offering training (SDS, Diamond) and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of who to choose (or avoid) in the Newark on Trent / Lincoln area.

Yeah I’d echo what ROG said. When I used to live in Nottingham I drove to both Newark and Mansfield and its easily commutable. PSTT ( Sutton in Ashfield) is not that far from you and they have good feedback on here. I’m going to go with them once I’ve saved up some scratch and take their pass protection scheme thing.

About 45 minutes to an hour each way. I was hoping for some personal recommendations as opposed to sponsored results :slight_smile:

With respect, that’s what you’ve had. The response wasn’t from the forum sponsor. Their role in this is to pay to keep the forum up and running!!

I’m sure if you have a look through the threads you’ll see more recommendations for PSTT than anywhere else.

Put simply, as the forum sponsor, they cannot afford to get it wrong.

Yes PSTT are a forum sponsor but have lots of personal recommendations on here. I went with them in 2016 as well and they get great reviews on here all the time.

I would also recommend them, top notch vehicles and trainers and facilities.
