Trainers able to sign off reverse

Applications are being accepted from Monday 8th from trainers wishing to sign off the reverse, couple/uncouple exercises. Authorisations should be done in around 10 days so it’s possible that those candidates training towards the end of the month onwards might be able to avail themselves of this new service.

Trainers that are not able to get this facility (maybe site not up to official standards) can still take the candidate to a DVSA test centre or to any other authorised trainer.

PSTT are aiming to be able to offer this service widely asap.

I would hope there’s some stipulation that the trainer who trained that candidate can’t sign it off but one of his colleagues who hasn’t been the trainer for that candidate could do it.
Otherwise it’s just a bit of a joke IMO

No. But all testing is subject to DVSA quality control , announced or silent.

PSTT are using bodycams to protect the integrity of the test.
