On my trailer the manufacturers plate has several
figures
GVW 39000
Axle 0 15000
Axle 1. 8000
Axle 2. 8000
Axle 3. 8000
Bogie T. 24000
Does this mean the maximum load I can carry on the trailer
is 24000kg ?
Could anyone explain the meaning of these figures

You won’t know what it can carry unless you put it over a weighbridge, but the trailer won’t be the limiting factor!
Gvw - gross vehicle weight, park it on a weighbridge, uncoupled so only the trailer is on, max of 39t, but you’ll never get it anywhere near that unless you can find a unit that weighs 5t! My 07 FH 480 with tipping gear weighs 9100kgs, so 44000 - 9100 = 34900 is the most my trailer and it’s load can weigh, the trailer itself weighs about 6600kgs (bathtub bulker) so it can be loaded with around 28300 of stuff! When the unit has a full tank of juice, a lighter unit will mean you can increase the payload or even just a less full tank!
Axle 0 is the max weight allowed to be imposed on the 5th wheel
Axle 1, 2, 3, is the max weight each axle can weigh, so drive over an axle weighbridge, 8t is the max.
Bogie 24t is the max weight on the on the trailer bogie which is the group of axles, so add up the actual weight on axle 1 + 2 + 3 = 24t max, in this case the max of the axles when added up is the max bogie weight too.
So on my FH, max combination / train weight is 44t, so that’s the most you can weigh on a weighbridge, Inc fuel, driver etc.
The axle weights are

=49700, so that allows some leeway on where the load is placed, if the axles only added upto 44000, then the load would have to be perfectly placed, so you didn’t overload an axle, by having the extra capacity in the axles means the load can be loaded forward or backward to some degree and still get to the max 44t
