If go motorway to la jonquera off at figures then cut up to it nice straight rd
Anyone gone first route shorter mileage no tolls but what road like esp this time of year

One heck of a long way round via Ancona…now if you were to skirt round the Principality of Andorra.
Did it in our car last summer and I wouldn’t want to cut thru , especially this time of year & in a truck…I’d go motorway every time also the Q out of Andorra was shocking…good luck
you don’t actually enter andorra but go around it. I’ve driven that way once, loaded out of berga, but never, never again.

From drop to drop is 59 miles shorter skirting around the outskirts of andorra
But roads look ■■■■ and time of year
So prob go with instict and go via la jonquera and extra mileage tolls
Prob be quicker in long run
If was july /august def go other route jyst for something different and scenery
The road around Ax was bad last week, which comes from the 20 from Foix,up in Andorra was fine.
Roads do get cleared quite quickly over there, just depends if you feel lucky or not.
Take details of both routes and decide on the day is what I’d do.

Well after speaking to french driver at first drop decided to go round
As sat nav said quicker aswell
Ran n2 from lajonquera to figures
Then took national across nice straight road and new bit of free motorway to olot
Then cut across from there but new tunnels straight to town I wanted
^ Nothing like a bit of local knowledge.
