although a very competent map reader i have come to rely on sat nav in my last job(home delivery for comet) can i get a low bridge programme for my tom tom or are there any better sat navs out there for hgv s
you can download bridge heights from tomtom home and enter them as poi’s to warn you about.
a bit of a long process (there are loads of them) but worth it!
I’ve got a zip file with all bridges in the UK for the TomTom.
It works for bridges from 6ft 6" to 16’3". You can load them all on or just the ones that are relevent to the height of your vehicle.
