Which area are you from mate?
Speedy seem to run some niece kit, just make sure if you do get the job that you strap and chain anything down properly, cut corners with plant hire and you’ll have trouble.
I hope you get it mate cause i work for a hire firm and love it.

Yes that’s not a bad type of work, regular shaped loads that shouldn’t get you into trouble too much. Unless they fall off
I work for Speedy, not a bad company. I’ve only worked for them for 3 months but as mentioned the kit is good. Run you around the mill a wee bit and to be honest the wages are crap but I start @ 07.30 …finish @ 17.00 Monday - Friday …work 08.30 - 12.00 every other Saturday. Oh, and I’m home every night / weekend, get Christmas off and after a year get 26 days + bank hols off.
Downside I’m only driving one of their support vans…I’m an experienced class 1 driver with 15 yrs + on class 1 & even longer on class 3, left Interlink / DPD doing permanent nights Mon - Fri doing 14hr split shifts ( horrible hrs ) always knackered at weekends and could never sleep during the day …halved my take home pay but am I happy …too right I am! No tachos to worry about, stupid long hours etc …& I’ve got my home / family life back which means a lot to me.
Go for it matey n good luck with your interview. Speedy are a real up and coming hire provider so you won’t go wrong.

Nice one mate, welcome to Speedy!
Curtain siders are a piece of cake, dont worry youll be shown everything.
Good luck
Sounds great - 4 on 4 off is a great shift pattern once you get used to it.
it will be my the first time i’ve driven a curtain sider any tips■■?
The technical bits - I am sure you will be shown.
Be careful when it’s windy - the ■■■■ things can blow all over the place, best to only open one side at a time in a wind.
Try to keep an even amount of curtain wound round the poles at each end - in fact try to never take both poles out at the same time.
Tuck the loose end of the straps behind the vertical part - it looks neater, and it can be annoying to see them flapping in your mirrors.
Curtains are not like the walls of a van - the load still needs to be secure.
