Mine’s nice and clean at the moment; Serviced Thursday and hasn’t moved since then. Will probably be on muck tomorrow though. Paul does put some effort into that wagon though.
Just arrived on demo.

Mine’s filthy dirty and broke down at this moment; Something didn’t feel right when loaded earlier and started smoking.
This one was fixed before mine today (my Uncles’ last one before retirement). Due to so much downtime, this is my (very late) 30min break near Chipping Norton.

Loading reject blocks at Pavestone, Burford Quarry. Breedons owned Burford but I think Pavestone was a part sold in a management buyout and Smiths acquired the quarry.

Not for much longer Nathan. They have one billion pounds to acquire more quarries and associated plants throughout the UK.
I see more of their vehicles every week in this area.
Cheers Dave.

No he’s long retired but a well respected driver. I’ll copy that part of the article tomorrow with his comments. Percy drove an ergo cabbed Leyland Comet for Smiths during the '70s. One of the old timers that a cantankerous shovel driver would do well to avoid.
